Cymax

Why does one and the same company treat its customers unequally? Some of them are forced to file complaints wherever possible to warn people about fraud. And the others are completely satisfied and as a gratitude post testimonials for the same company?

Cymax Stores, Inc. Cymax is a company that operates a number of websites selling furniture. CymaxStores.com is a division of Cymax Stores, Inc. that was founded in 2005. Cymax Stores provides a huge selection of bedroom furniture that include air beds, bedding, bunk beds, dressers, mirrors, ottomans; offices furniture: bookcases, computer armoires, computer desks, lecterns, drawing tables, u-bridges; living room furniture such as TV carts, audio racks, media storage, speaker stands, home theater seating; entertainment furniture; electronics: home and personal audio, headsets, home theater electronics,TV sets, speakers; and a lot of accessories. Cymax Stores offers free shipping and no sales tax on some items.

What do the customers say? “Do not buy from these people- they are the worst, most unprofessional company I have ever done business with,” – these are the exact words with which the majority of the pissed customers start their complaints about Cymax Stores. People are not satisfied with the quality of the products and the delivery services provided by the company. The purchased merchandise serves for a few weeks and then goes down. The company does provide exchange and refund but that is a tough issue. People claim that it is quite a problem to prove a defective item and get another one delivered.
However, there are also customers who are completely happy to shop with Cymax Stores. They say that they purchase from the many internet companies they do business under (probably so that no one associates that business with all of the numerous complaints about Cymax.), pay for the "white glove" delivery service and receive perfect items. If the purchases arrive badly damaged you document everything in the manner Cymax asks, right on the delivery receipt. The company tells you that they might be able to repair the damage, so you should accept the delivery and that they would send me another if it couldn't be repaired. I took photos and sent them right away. The people you deal with were very friendly and nice and promise to send another unit ASAP. In case you refuse to accept the defected product they refund the money within a week or so.

Judging from the above stated cases, it depends. If you are lucky to be treated with respect you will get what you pay for. And if a manager or another company rep has a bad day, take care.
